Travel on a Reading Retreat

If you’ve ever come home from a trip feeling more like you survived The Amazing Race than took a vacation, you’re not alone. For introverts, traditional group travel can feel like a marathon of small talk, rigid itineraries, and endless “must-see” lists.

If your book club has ever daydreamed about sipping wine in Tuscany while debating which Little Women sister was truly the most relatable (spoiler: it’s still Jo), or lounging in a Parisian café while pretending you’re in an episode of Emily in Paris, then it’s time to take your stories off the page and into the world.

Traditionally, reading and traveling don’t mesh. One is a slow-paced, indoor activity while the other is a fast-paced, adventurous activity. But when you go on one of our reading retreats, you can soak in a new city and a new book at the same time. 

Our reading retreats are about giving your TBR the attention it deserves, cultivating new, bookish connections, and exploring the literary scene of whatever destination you’re traveling to.
