South Carolina Reading Retreat

Enjoy a long weekend on the coast
September 25-28, 2026

Ready to slow down on South Carolina's beautiful coast?

Join us September 25–28, 2026 on Isle of Palms, just outside Charleston, for a women’s Reading Retreat set along a wide stretch of soft, sandy coastline. Over three nights, we’ll settle into a slower rhythm filled with long reading sessions, morning coffee by the ocean, easy beach walks, and unhurried conversations that linger well past sunset.

Early fall on Isle of Palms is one of those sweet spots, warm enough for beach days, but with a softer, quieter energy as the crowds begin to fade. It’s a place to truly unplug, with the sound of the waves in the background and just enough nearby to explore if you feel like it. Expect a mix of rest, connection, and space to read, think, and recharge in a setting that feels both calming and just a little bit special.

What to Expect

  • A beautiful beach home located on in Isle of Palms, approximately 30 minutes from Charleston

  • Indoor and outdoor spaces to cozy up with a book

  • Continental breakfasts, a mix of chef-prepared and restaurant dinners, plus all on-property drinks included

  • Airport transfers to and from Charleston International Airport (CHS)

  • A welcoming retreat host to take care of all the details

  • Optional daily activities like a foodie walking tour of Charleston and wine tasting on Wadmalaw Island

  • Small group size — just 10 women — so you can form meaningful connections

Our flexible itinerary is designed to balance relaxation and adventure. You choose how much (or how little) you want to do.
